Leading Up To Designing Your New Kitchen

Steps in Remodeling Your Kitchen
There are lots of ways to approach your kitchen remodeling project but in our experience of working with hundreds of homeowners throughout Tampa Bay we recommend this process:
Reason for Your Remodel – Every homeowner has a reason for remodeling. For some it’s that the kitchen doesn’t work for them, there isn’t enough storage or counter space or the appliances are insufficient. A lot of homeowners simply have a dated kitchen.
Know Your Budget – Choosing a range for your budget helps the kitchen remodeling company you are working with guide you to the right cabinets, appliances, and countertop options.
Color or Tone – When designing your new kitchen, keep in mind your kitchen needs to fit in with the rest of the home. If you are keeping your existing flooring, you need to take that into consideration too. There are many great online resources you can use to find inspiration. Houzz is one of our favorites.
Showroom Visit – Make an appointment to visit our showroom. Our showroom has modern kitchens that show you actual cabinets, countertops, appliances, and finishing pieces. Seeing things in actual size in a kitchen setting will help you envision your kitchen makeover.
Start the Design Process – Once you have some ideas of what your kitchen could look like from our showroom or pictures of finished projects, we’ll want to come to your home and measure the space. While we are in your home we can work to address the reasons for remodeling your kitchen.
Agree on Design Layout – After we’ve been in your home, we’ll create multiple views of your space for you to approve. Of course we know that we may need to make some adjustments to the initial design to get your kitchen the way you envisioned it, but that’s part of the process. Once we agree on a design, we can move to the next step.
Choosing Your Materials – For many homeowners this is one of the most difficult steps in the process. We will help guide you to the products that will not only look great in your home but also that fit within your budget. We have professional designers on staff to assist with coordinating cabinets, tile, flooring, and whatever other pieces we’ll be updating for you.
