CotY Award 2010: Commercial
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recognizes members each year in their Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. In 2010, Jamco Unlimited received first place honors in two categories, Residential Kitchen Under $40,000 and Commercial Specialty. Jamco Unlimited built this mikvah, Mikvah Mei Menachem, for Young Israel of Clearwater. As a special type of bath house, the religious requirements called for unique plumbing, in keeping with the faith's tenets.
The mikvah includes a beautiful mural as well as spectacular tile work throughout the interior, including the stunning blue mosaic tiles in the pool. There's also a beautiful bathtub and a large separate shower. And there's a stately, furniture-style vanity. The exterior was finished with landscaping.
